WindsorONE Locates in Yuba County

A global wood products manufacturer finds room to produce, distribute, and grow.

WindsorONE, a global manufacturer of specialty wood products, needed a site that could support day-one operations and long-term growth. Yuba County offered what the company was looking for:

  • Access to a growing West Coast market
  • Proximity to raw materials
  • Regional transportation corridors for distribution

The result is an estimated $50 million capital investment and 150+ new jobs in the pipeline.

Yuba County worked with WindsorONE and regional partners to align the site, infrastructure, permitting, and workforce training, including customized programs developed with Yuba College. We also coordinated with the previous molding and millwork business during its transition, which helped create the opportunity for WindsorONE to move in.

Bringing departments and agencies together early gave WindsorONE clear timelines and expectations from the start, so the project could keep moving.

Today, WindsorONE is operating in Yuba County and using its location and infrastructure to support expansion and regional distribution. As the company grows, those new positions mean skilled local jobs and new dollars flowing into the county’s economy
