Michael Lee
Community Development and Services Agency, DirectorWelcome to Yuba County! With an eye for fine-tuning efficiency and strategically investing in our resources and people, some might liken me to the maestro in an orchestra. I often reflect on the abundant resources and potential Yuba County has to offer when I’m out boating with my family, fishing on the dock, or biking through the nearby mountains. I know as we continue to invest in the future, building out infrastructure throughout the county, we shall achieve a prosperous vision together.
Kevin Perkins
Community Development and Services Agency, Assistant DirectorHi, Hola, Bonjour, Sawadee, Howdy! I’m a champion for knowledge sharing. My goal is to see everyone around me succeed, including our local businesses. My family has deep farming roots in the local Yuba-Sutter area, so long term planning for land use has always been in my life. I have a heart for travel, gardening and international foods! Whether it is a weekend road trip, or an international destination, you can bet I’m out meeting people, making friends, and trying new things.
Jeremy Strang
Building Department, ManagerWelcome! I enjoy seeing the beauty in nature through photography and seeing the strength in individuals around me. I am a straight shooter who appreciates a good sense of humor and working alongside exceptional people. Helping guide our businesses through building permits can be a lot like my favorite bike trails; some routes are short and easy, whereas other can be long and challenging! Rest assured, our team is here to help you navigate your trail.

Environmental Health, DirectorHow’s it going? Building a successful business is a lot like renovating my 1930s farmhouse. All goes well if you have a solid foundation, and aim to do things right the first time. However, reality is not always a picturesque morning on the perfect wrap-around porch. Reality can be sticky, moldy, or unpredictable. We’re here to help you navigate the environmental health surprises or challenges of business, as you build your future.

Business Engagement, ManagerHi Friends! After living a few years out of state, the return home has been such a warm welcome. Yuba County has so many hidden treasures that I enjoy, whether that is dining in historic downtown Marysville, hiking the Bullard’s Bar Trail with my two dogs or perusing the local farmer’s markets to stock up on olive oil and handmade soaps; products essentially grown by my neighbors! The local agriculture is so bountiful here. My goal is to be an advocate for this region while I continue to be in awe over how much opportunity there is in the Yuba County region for growth and prosperity.
Your Yuba County Board of Supervisors thanks you for choosing to do business in Yuba County!
